Stay Away From This Stuff!

The 4 people that gave this crap 5 star reviews almost have to be on the payroll, as a matter of fact, it is almost impossible to find an honest review on the companies products. When you Google anything with Komputerbay in it the only thing that comes up are the same "copy and past" testimonials spammed all over the web. That is the reason I'm posting this. DO NOT buy into it. After installing this RAM along with a new SSD and a 2nd video card, and doing a clean Windows install I noticed that my systems stability was crap! Windows updates and drivers would not install, CONSTANT crashes (Blue Screen of Death and all). When I actually managed to get it to work for more than an hour (only happened once and that is because I gave up on updating Windows) the whole computer ran like a 10 year old piece of junk! That was not the type of performance that I would expect from a $1500 custom built rig with 16GB of ram and a brand new SSD in it. After a week of fighting with my computer I started eliminating the possibilities... and would you know that as soon as I swapped this crap RAM out for my old stuff my windows updates started to install (Not one failure) Drivers are now going in without a hitch and for the first time in a week I'm able start up my anti-virus without getting a blue screen or freezing up my system. Just save yourself the trouble, spend a little bit more, and get something that you know will work.On a side note, a lot of people online who are asking about this RAM are mentioning that it is re-branded Samsung RAM. That is not the case at all. It is a ploy to sucker the people who know what they are looking for into buying this stuff. Remember the golden rule, "You Get What You Pay For". You have been warned.

it's the 3rd order i made from Komputebay.on the 2nd one they send me memoery sticks for laptop instead of desktopand now 2 out of 4 sticks are not good ! . one is only 2GB while it says on the stick 4GB and the other is not functioningat all ! bad experience !

These ram sticks look very high quality and installed in my MacPro 4,1 with no problem at all. Was no problem for me seeing that they are downsized to 1066mhz and still work fine.
