All Around Trouble

I gave one star because the product arrived at my door about 3 days after I ordered it -- super speedy. Beyond that, let's take this one issue at a time.First, the shipping box - was half opened and deteriorated when left on my porch. When lifted, the bottom fell out - I only hoped nothing else was lost in shipment, but this means any idea of a return is gone, unless I want to purchase some sort of shipping box this would fit in.Second, the instructions sheet/parts list - of course written by someone with no command of the English language, so most of the written instructions make no sense. Without the pictures, one would be totally lost. Further, some of the steps were already completed, so we couldn't double check the parts list to make sure all were there. We just tried to plug along with assembly - hoping we wouldn't be missing items.(I should also add here that there is no company name/address/phone/website listed on the only sheet of paper included in the package. There is no one to contact for missing parts, assembly questions, etc. You're left to your own devices and perhaps a trip or two to the hardware store.)Third, assembly itself - after about an hour we were nearly done. However, we couldn't (and STILL can't) get the larger part of the split table to attach to a point that the tilt screw actually touches the mechanism. With some WD40 and a sledgehammer, we broke part of the outer rim of the table, but were not lucky enough to get it attached fully. This means I have a table about 12 x 6 to use over the bed - HARDLY what was described.During assembly, all 10 screws included in the shipment were stripped - leading to trip #1 to the hardware store. The cheezy excuse for an wrench included in the kit was likewise stripped.As it stands right now, this table useless to me - until such time as I get a body builder over to the house to get the table properly inserted. It cannot be returned as is. A total waste of roughly $75.00!I would therefore stay away from this item as well as anything from this company (whoever they are)! They apparently realize how bad their construction is that they refuse to put any way to contact them on the Assembly Instruction sheet. That says a ton to me. It should also to you._____________________________________Later Update:After apparently seeing my previous review, the company contacted me and made amends for some of the issues, so I appropriately increased the listing to 3 stars. First, they explained to me how to fix the final table assembly issue - it was related to one of the steps that was already completed. (In order to attach the table, you have to take apart a step they already completed, assemble the table, and THEN re-do the step.) Once understood, we were able to get the table attached quickly.Second, they provided a financial settlement to make me happier about the other issues. After a very friendly phone conversation, I explained they really needed to add company contact info to their documentation, all were happy.I cannot; however, increase the rating to more than 3 stars because of the issues mentioned above. The frustrations occurred and even complete reimbursement of costs would not have remedied this. But it's only fair that I alter my review to reflect the company concern for our happiness.

Good Product

The table was received on time, however, the box was badly damaged. Upon opening, the plastic top had a scratch on it. The seller was contacted and they sent a replacement. The instructions were a little difficult to read. The table was assembled in about fifteen minutes. My teenage son now uses the table to hold his laptop and iPod in bed before going to sleep. He loves it and we are quite happy.

They are so handy and I can roll them around on the carpet - I use one for my computer and since it adjusts height and tilt I am much more comfortable than sitting at a flat desk. I have one in the bedroom if I am working in bed and also one next to my lazy boy for basically everything really even to eat dinner since it adjust in height. Excellent quality and arrived with all the pieces to put together no problem - I have problems with IKEA but these instructions were simply to follow.
