small glitch even when I measured, measured, measured

I was petrified to buy these shades. Any shades, really. We get hot afternoon sun and our windows are metal so I wanted something that I didn't have to mount by making a hole in the window frame. For that, these shades were great. They block the sun, and are saving our wood floors and TV. They are easy up and down, and we've had them up a few months now and haven't had any problems.The one problem I did have. I measured, measured, measured, just as instructed. I used two measuring tapes just to be sure, I had my husband do his own independent measurement. I spoke to a redi-shade employee about measurement. Can you guess what happened? When I received the shades they were SO tight I wasn't able to even use the tension mount. When you mount, you should be able to push a little trigger hear a "click" to know they are set. Not with my shades. I had to push those suckers in to get them in the window. And with the super-sticker on the end it meant that if I didn't get them right immediately I'd have to take them down, scrape off the sticky stuff and re-mount. Thus two of my shades are a bit crooked. But only if you REALLY look at them. That's really the only downside of these shades, and not enough for me to downgrade the review. Surely I messed something up at some point :\So, these shades are pretty much as advertised. Even with the size-issue I had, they were pretty easy to mount. Took just a few minutes a piece. I will be back to update if the shades fall out of the window when the temps change and things around our home tend to contract a bit.
