Looks nice, sounds nice

The speakers appear to be nice quality. They sound fine. I like the 8" woofer over my previous 6.5" speakers because the bass can travel a bit further away. The maximum bass isn't overly strong, but balances nicely with the treble from the tweeter which is nice and crisp.The speckled granite case feels sturdy and is reasonably realistic. There are no seams in the case except hidden on the bottom that is sealed with silicon. They blend in well with the landscaping around the pool.The wire leads come out from the bottom center and have a groove to exit under the back. The wires are adequate, but could be longer. I installed them with outdoor wire nuts. It was a minor inconvenience as I would have preferred some sort of quick disconnect, a feature pretty much standard on retail speakers. The wire leads are fine for a more permanent installation, just have some burial-able wire nuts on hand and be prepared to strip more insulation from the wire as the factory only strips 2mm for you, which is hard to attach to a wider outdoor wire.
